Like all types of evaluation, implementing a formative evaluation in a conflict resolution program requires resources. However, these resources can be well-spent when a formative evaluation supports the reflective practice of conflict resolution, particularly in the long-term efforts that so often focus on seemingly intractable conflicts.
Evaluation is a process that demands resources and must be driven. The forces driving conflict-resolution evaluation have proliferated during the past decade, and a variety of evaluation practices have developed in response to these driving forces.
Formative evaluation by itself does not meet the needs of most conflict resolution initiatives. As described in the evaluation overview module , there are roles for conflict assessment , action evaluation ,
A second characteristic of a teacher evaluation system that focuses on development is that it employs a scale or rubric that teachers can use to guide and track their skill development. Such a scale would articulate developmental levels, such as not using, beginning, developing, applying , and innovating (Marzano, Frontier, & Livingston, 7566).
For instance, in many professions women continue to earn less than men, and are less likely to advance in their careers compared to men. Similarly, men still encounter more challenges in accessing family-friendly work policies, or flexible working arrangements compared to their women counterparts. Real gender equality in the workplace can only be attained when employees have access to and enjoy the same rewards, resources and opportunities regardless of whether they are a woman or a man.
Content strategies fall into three subcategories: those used for new content, those used when students are practicing and deepening their knowledge of new content, and those used when students are asked to apply knowledge by generating and testing hypotheses. There are 68 types of content strategies (Elements 6–78).

Within the range of formative evaluation approaches, there are four main goals for formative evaluation, each of which may be more or less emphasized depending on the program needs. Each of these approaches to formative evaluation are briefly summarized below, with a focus on their applicability to formative evaluation of conflict resolution work in intractable conflicts.
Of course, it’s not an easy task. First of all, you have to set the scene and attract the readers’ interest. Use a short anecdote, a brief story, a historical context, a set of interesting facts about the thing you are writing.
So do you still ask yourself how should I do my essay if I have no time? You have enough time for buying paper writing, though. Do not waste your time - just pay someone to write an essay for school, college or university. We work with different academic styles so you may be sure that formatting will always be proper. Just indicate it when you create an order, and our writers will use your recommendation for the formatting style.
This does not mean just importing evaluation models and theories from other fields. The conflict context creates challenges to activities fundamental to the practice of evaluation, including timing evaluation, tracking change, attributing change, and engaging stakeholders. A range of tools needs to be developed to cope with these challenges. With the development of tools more appropriate to the evaluation of conflict-resolution interventions, both new and more refined approaches to the practice of conflict-management evaluation may result.
Ask yourself, "Are there other possible positions on this matter?" If so, briefly outline them. Decide on your own position (it may agree with one of the competing arguments) and state explicitly the reason(s) why you hold that position by outlining the consistent facts and showing the relative insignificance of contrary facts. Coherently state your position by integrating your evaluations of the works you read. This becomes your conclusions section.
